About their Natural Disaster
Sweden don't seem to have many natural disasters, but when they do, they tend to be weather related. One notable natural disaster is the 1902 Christmas Hurricane. This hurricane hit the Kronoberg County and the west coast of the country. There was about 50 fisherman that were killed in this disaster, but only a few died people on land. The country was affected by having a massive clean-up and repair bill of millions of Swedish Crowns, which is the Swedish currency. It took quite a few years for the country to recover from this tragedy and re-build or repair the damaged buildings.
